  • Take a break from your busy routine to relax and grow.
  • Watch sample classroom demonstrations in the grade you teach.
  • Be encouraged to continue making a difference for Christ.
  • Network with other Christian educators.
  • Get practical help specifically for your age group—nursery, kindergarten, elementary, or secondary.
  • Learn how to use modern technology with traditional education.

  • Office staff, learn about accounts receivable, orientation, cumulative records, and more.

Practical Training for New and Experienced Teachers

As a teacher, you need training and tips you can use! That’s what you’ll find at Teachers Clinic. If you’re a new teacher, you’ll leave with ideas for teaching, class procedures, and classroom management you can put into practice right away. What if you’re an experienced teacher? The Clinic is for you, too! When you’re here, you’ll find new ideas and inspiration—just like the thousands of delegates who’ve come from across the U.S. and several other countries.

Dr. Arlin R. Horton & Bekah Horton

In 1952, Arlin and Beka Horton came to Pensacola with a dream to start a Christian school.

Their dream came true when the school opened in 1954 with just 3 teachers and 35 students. The next year, there were 100 students.

Growth was steady.

Now, Pensacola Christian Academy (the school that started off so small) has 2,000 students every year. (That’s not counting the 40,000+ students who watch Pensacola Christian Academy teachers at home through the Abeka video program.)

Teachers Clinic was started in 1970 to share with teachers from all over the country—and even around the world—how they can create successful classrooms and teach most effectively using the Abeka curriculum.

What philosophy and methods have worked so well for us? You’ll find out at Teachers Clinic, and you’ll be able to take that knowledge and apply it anywhere.
